نبذة عن أمير القراء الشيخ محمد رفعت

الشيخ محمد رفعت هو محمد رفعت محمود رفعت ولقب ب(المعجزة - قيثارة السماء - الرباني - القرآني - كروان الإذاعه - الصوت الذهبي - الصوت الملائكي - صوت عابد - سوط عذاب وصوت رحمه).

ولد الشيخ محمد رفعت رحمه الله فى حى المغربلين بالدرب الأحمر فى9/5/1882وانتقل الى رحمة الله فى نفس اليوم والشهر الذى ولد فيه فى 9/5/1950 أى عنعمر يناهز 68 عاماوترك لنا تراثا ايمانيا نورانيا رائعا يأخذ بالألباب


التحق بكتّابمسجد مصطفى فاضل باشا بـ"درب الجماميز"، فأتم حفظ القرآن وتجويده قبل العاشرة، وظلَّ يقرأ القرآن ويرتله في نفس المسجد قرابة الثلاثينعامًا؛ وفاءً منه للمسجد الذي بدأ فيه.
(يقع مسجد مصطفى فاضل باشا المعروف الآن بمسجد الشيخ محمد رفعت شارع بور سعيد بالقاهرة ....وهو قريب من مستشفى أحمد ماهر و ملاصق للمدرسة الخيدوية الثانوية..المسجد قديم وقامت الدولة بتجديده وتقام فيه جميع الشعائر..وهو من الداخل تحفة فنية)


وهو أشهر من رتل القرآن الكريم في التاريخ الحديث، وأكبر وأعظم قارئ في عصره وحتى هذه اللحظة فلا يوجد صوت يضاهيه أو حتى يقاربه في جماله وقوته ورقته وخشوعه وعبوديته، فلا يوجد من كبار قراء هذا العصر أو في عصره إلا وقد استمع وتعلم من الشيخ رفعت، فقد أطرب الآذان وزلزل الأبدان ورقت القلوب وخشعت وعاشت مع هذا الصوت الرباني وصاحبه العفيف ذو الخلق الكريم فاستحق لقب {معجزة السماء على الأرض}.
